Valencia Half Marathon

Art Direction for the Valencia Half Marathon. I focused on making the runner feel that we are his host. We take care of him, we care about his experience since friday afternoon untill the end of the race on sunday.

Sometimes we are able to get a smile from a runner with very little change and no extra cost. This is where we are stong.

Prior to starting One Man's Studio, I worked as the sole visual communications asset for the tenth largest commercial staffing provider in the United States—CBS Personnel Holdings, Inc. [now Staffmark]. As a former manager stated, I was "a one-man show"—a phrase heard often during my tenure, and one that no doubt influenced the naming of my practice. This album highlights a sampling of my efforts as the company's Graphic Designer/Creative Director.

TIAA-CREF is a giant in the American Financial world, with over $400 Billion under investment at any given time. They are focussed on handling pensions and investments for those who work in public service, such as teachers, nurses, cultural and research workers. They take great pride in being a non-profit dot org, not a cut-throat dot com, and wanted to highlight their Socially Responsible Investing strategies to both staff and investors. Alongside financial return, many investors care about the social and environmental impacts of the companies in their investment portfolios.
