AW 2011 Shoes collection - Orangery

Orangery shoe collection, as in the case of collection of clothing, was inspired by the architectural complex of the Gare do Oriente in Lisbon. Parallel leather stitchings, leather folds and of spatial elements in the form of a deformed triangle placed on the shoes are direct references to the roof framing components.
The collection consists of various forms of perfect-for-many-ccasions sandals, boots with a sculpted wedge and shoes with embroidered pattern on leather.

Orangery, both flippant and flamboyant, designed for the autumn-winter 2011, consists of clothing for men and women. It was the architecture of Gare do Oriente in Lisbon that became the inspiration. The appearance of the structure of the station roof has resulted in the creation of the module in the form of deformed geometric figure, multiplied in different parts of the garments. This motif forms a spatial structure of fabrics giving 3D effect. Observation of the roof framing and the abovementioned module stimulated me to design a linear printing on fabrics, as well.
