2elefants is a Swiss IT company that mainly operates in Cuba on communicational projects. The company was looking for a professional and earnest image, due to its extensive experience, but yet young and fresh.

The basic component to create this identity was the typeface Courier, which is very recognisable among software engineers, and the name itself to develop a ludic composition using the color red to make reference to the companies origin.

My graduate thesis work that I completed in the spring off 2007 is entirely based around the use of letterforms as a design element. I absolutely love working with type and studying typography. I found that letters and numbers have beautiful shape and form all to themselves and felt that it was the perfect opportunity to use them in my intensive thesis work.

Treasury Holdings is one of Ireland’s largest property companies, with interests in Ireland, the U.K., Europe, Russia and China. Most of the properties they own are landmark buildings, noted for their history and architecture. Xmi Design was asked to design their corporate portfolio in order to showcase both the company and all its extensive holdings.
