MARYAM NEVISI - "Fashion is freedom"

This thought inspired Susan Maryam Haberlandt-Nevisi to found the fashion label MARYAM NEVISI in 2010.

She consciously chose the Persian part of her name. Born 1969 in Munich, she spent most of her childhood in Tehran, Iran. At the age of sixteen she returned to Germany. Having experienced the Islamic Revolution, she is driven by the desire to creatively express her regained freedom.

Accordingly her first collection is innovative and mysterious:

The details break the rules, the patterns are organic, each piece is created by hand. This haptic process - in contact with the material - allows room for inspiration.

 The creations celebrate the individuality and beauty of women. The variety of designs, the play of colors and materials are expressed with elegance and sensuality. They are pure, playful and - in a gentle way - sexy.
