Slanted Magazine & Weblog
SLANTED.de is a weblog with typography and design as its topic.
Founded in 2004, it has grown into an important design portal and discussion forum in the German-speaking area. The typography magazine SLANTED, in existence since 2005 and parallel to the weblog, is published quarterly and combines the sectors typography, layout, illustration and photography. It attends to the topics in greater detail and more intensive.
Both blog and magazine encourage and call for a debate on these subjects as an experimental field. It is also about getting to know them, seeing them in a different light, and to reflect on them.
Slanted is published by MAGMA Brand Design from Karlsruhe, Germany.

LOFT The Nordic BOOKAZINE
LOFT is the Nordic qualitative answer to the untapped global demand and the persistent inquiry for what is going on in the Nordic countries – Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. It's a symbiosis between a magazine and a book that goes against the dominant trend of consuming and throwing away tons and tons of printed matter that we could have easily done without from the beginning: the ”BOOKAZINE” – because it is created as something worth keeping.
Pio Barone Lumaga, the Editor-in-Chief of LOFT, is mentor and friend of Faces of Design's management. LOFT and FoD share many ideas and concepts, and FoD's Professional Members enjoy a special discount on LOFT subscriptions. We're extremely happy to be able to offer you some of the great articles from LOFT's print issue here at Faces of Design.
