What can I say - I practically never miss out on a quick visit to the Tate when I'm in London. Even if I may not be interested in the current exhibition (or I don't fancy the queue), I just take a stroll around the collection (I love the fact that a visit to the collection is free of charge), look at the installation in the Turbine Hall, and browse their bookshop. The walk down the south bank from Waterloo Station to the Tate, past Gabriel's Wharf and the Oxo Wharf is rather one of my favourite spots in London.
