The Domaine de Boisbuchet is an idyllic country estate in the Southwest of France (Poitou-Charente region). For a number of years, the Centre International de Recherche et d’Education Culturelle et Agricole (C.I.R.E.C.A) has maintained an international cultural centre there. In cooperation with the Centre Georges Pompidou and the Vitra Design Museum, a series of workshops are offered in the summer months under the direction of internationally recognised artists, designers and architects.

The owner of the Domaine, Alexander von Vegesack, is the founding director of the Vitra Design Museum, and a close friend of Faces of Design's management.
