“White Room”, France
At the Vitra Design Museum Workshop “1001 Meters“ directed by interior designer Sevil Peach, Johanna Keimeyer installed the “White Room“, inspired by the white fabric “Lime“ of workshop sponsor Kvadrat. Location was an abandoned farmhouse with an old fireplace, bird’s nest, harnesses on the wall and full of spiderwebs. She transformed the space into a puristic meditative oasis. The perfect place to escape from the French summer heat in an imaginary winter scenery. Johanna covered the entire space with the fabric and included the existing architecture and items.
