The Piepenbrock Sculpture Prize, awarded by the Hartwig Piepenbrock Cultural Foundation every two years, is one of the most renowned awards for established and up-and-coming sculptors in Europe. Naroska Design was recently commissioned to design a jubilee catalogue to celebrate the award’s 20 year anniversary. The book’s title Sculpture! is reflected in the sleeve design, which transforms the book itself into a piece of sculpture using printing techniques and typography. The catalogue contains a history of the award, an extensive collection of photographs and essays by art historians and the founder of the institution, Hartwig Piepenbrock.
