Working closely together with the Munich Transportation Authority, we created a modern, timeless Exterior Design together with an innovative and spacious layout for this new subway generation, with a "walk-through" Interior Design concept. In the usually crowded front cars, we installed wall-mounted moduled seats in beench-wood, leaving ample standing-space for short distance passengers, prams bicycles or bulky luggage. Towards the middle of the train, upholstered seats in vis-a-vis layout create a relaxing atmosphere for long distance passengers.
Resting supports in each entrance area, newly designed ideograms and pedestal-free seatd to facilitate cleanig are just a few of the numerous practical details of the new subway train.
