Future Classics - Today's Furniture In Future Lives

We discovered these drawings in How To Spend It, the supplement  of business daily Financial Times Deutschland, and loved them straight away. Produced by some of cartoon publisher Carlsen Comics' leading artists, the drawings show today's designer furniture in a futuristic context, reminding us of how we are shaping the future as we go along. We felt the media cross-over between product design and cartoon art was so great, we just had to share them with you.

Featured here are works by Reinhard Kleist, Nhung Vu  and Melanie Schober, all courtesy of the artists.
