The first two pieces of a new collection of fruit bowls by Frederik Roije. They are made from cast aluminium, and priced at 198,00 and 239,00 Euros; depicting the subway grids of Amsterdam and New York.

What a shame I missed them at imm Cologne; it would have been lovely to check them out in real life.

About Frederik:

Frederik Roijé was born on June 14, 1978, in the eastern part of the Netherlands. He graduated in 2001 from the Design Academy in Eindhoven. Here his preference for interior products was already visible.

During his studies Frederik did his internships at prestigious design studios such as Piero Lissoni, Milan and Marcel Wanders, Amsterdam. He runs his own studio now.
