Head First

Head First is an exhibition exploring design and culture related to the human head. It will present a wide range of objects designed for the head ranging from hats, helmets, jewellery and glasses to implant technology and virtual reality. The exhibition also addresses cultural change in terms of fashions, make-up and hairstyles.

The exhibition involves several partners, in association with which sections of the exhibition will be realized and specific themes will be charted. The associates include the University of Art and Design Helsinki (Media Lab), the Helsinki University of Technology (brain research at the Low Temperature Laboratory and automation technology), the Fashion Museum of England, and several others. An exhibition catalogue will also be published.
