Icograda (International Council of Graphic Design Associations) is the world body for professional communication design. Founded in 1963, it is a voluntary network of independent member organisations concerned with graphic design, visual communication, design management, design promotion, design education and design journalism. Its representation covers 67 countries and regions around the globe.
Icograda promotes communication designers’ vital role in society and commerce. Our vision, mission and core values are collectively embodied in the statement leading creatively and manifested through our Members’ diverse activities to use design as a medium for progressive change. Icograda maintains international affiliations with UNESCO, UNIDO, WIPO, IFRRO and ISO. Since 2003, Icograda has been a partner in the International Design Alliance (IDA).
