HUG United (tm) presents USA BY DESIGNERS. One year after EUROPE BY DESIGNERS project (more than 600 contributions coming from 47 countries - 52 contributors selected), HUG United (tm) launches the *bd second edition!
Call for Entries
Designers, illustrators, photographers, design studios, collectives/crews, agencies, students, visual artists... you are welcome to submit an innovative, creative, exciting, personal and experimental artwork inspired by the theme: " WHAT DOES USA MEAN TO YOU? " We are expecting diversity and freestyle: all styles of outstanding visual media are welcome. Selected works will be featured through online exhibit and book (more information soon).
ELIGIBILITY
Worldwide designers, illustrators, photographers, design studios, agencies, collectives/crews, agencies, students, visual artists are invited to submit. We are interested in showcasing all styles of outstanding visual media, including illustration, graphic design, photography, drawing, painting, etc. as an online exhibition. Whether you're an individual or a group, you are allowed and more than welcome to submit multiple works. Participation is open to applicants from every country in the world. All submissions must be received by: JANUARY 31ST, 2010 (11.59pm/23:59 GMT+1) Selected contributions will be announced by the end of February, 2010.
DIMENSION & FORMAT
You have to create your original work in print quality (minimum 300dpi, CMYK, TIFF or EPS format) as it may be required for future exhibitions.
— Original size: Width: 400mm x Height: 600mm ONLY
— Resolution for submission: Submissions are to be sent at 72dpi.
— Format for submission: JPG, PNG, GIF (no layers, no compression please!).
— Size for submission:Width: 400px x Height: 600px ONLY

To be eligible, please download and fill all the TXT entry form here (right clic & "save as" to download it): — http://www.usabydesigners.com/EntryForm.txt If you are a group, a collective or a crew... fill only ONE entry form per work. If you submit multiple entries, fill only ONE entry form please.
FILE NAME
Please name your files in that unique way: YourName_Title_1.extension (2, 3... for multiple entries) AND YourName_EntryForm.txt. Place them all in a folder named "YourName_YourContry" and compress everything altogether in a .zip format.

HUG United (tm) for USA BY DESIGNERS PROJECT accepts no responsibility for the copyright of artworks used. You grant to HUG United (tm) for USA BY DESIGNERS PROJECT only a worldwide, royalty-free and non-exclusive licence to feature the work online, to publish it in a book and to exhibit it. USA BY DESIGNERS accepts only artworks in respect of submission guidelines. Entries missing any of the elements may not be considered for selection!
