DESCRIPTION

STRUCTURAL PACKAGING SHOW is an international exhibition showing the best structures of packaging, from the technical and graphical point of view.
The exhibition is organized by Tribu-3 and Index Book, with the collaboration of Roland and Graphispag.

The participation is free and is opened for companies, studios, independent designers, pupils and young creators of packaging from the whole world.
The show does not have a competitive character. The best packaging in the show will be included in the book Structural Packaging Gold, which Josep Maria Garrofé is preparing in collaboration with Index Book and that will be published at the end of 2011.

REQUIREMENTS

The projects can be placed at any productive sector of consumption: food, textile, jewelry, decoration, leisure, writing, cosmetics, merchandising, publishing houses, etc.
There will be valued first of all the originality and the functionality of the structure of the packaging, having into account the own characteristics and the requirements of marketing of the productive sector in which they are placed. On the other hand, the graphic design will be also valued.
Two levels of participation are established:

  • 1. Designs realized by companies and professionals having been produced throughout 2009 and 2010.
  •
  • 2. Unpublished projects, that is to say, having not been previously produced nor published, realized by professionals, students and schools of design.

  • Categories:
  • Basic: packaging with just 1 die
  • Average: packaging with 2 or 3 dies
  • Superior: complex packaging with more than 3 dies
  • The packs must be made of cardboard, cardboard glued with micro-channel, card or other materials which can be cut from a structure, but they can be mixed with another kind of materials different to cardboard. Every participant can present an unlimited number of designs.
