red dot award: communication design 2011
The red dot award: communication design 2011 is open for entries. Designers, marketing agencies and clients of the communications industry are invited to score points with their published creative works.
This year, the submission categories "Event Design", "Online Communication" and "Interface Design" will be supplemented with additional subcategories.
For the first time, menu navigation of digital cameras and navigation systems, particularly sophisticated online communities or outstanding outdoor posters and charity events will be evaluated separately by experts in these areas.
Participation
Unlimited Number of Works
Entrants may register as many works as they wish. A work can be submitted in several categories, but not more than in three. In this case the work must be registered separately/as a new registration for each category.
Quality Control
Any work which has been submitted or won in the "red dot award: communication design" before will be excluded from participation.
For Students & Young Professionals: "red dot: junior award"
The "red dot: junior award" is a part of the "red dot award: communication design" competition and is open to students and emerging designers who have graduated within the last two years. Applicants must provide proof of their status with either a copy of their student ID or their graduation diploma. The person registering must hold the copyright to the work submitted.
"I encourage all creative minds, whether design freelancers or digital artists, from mid-sized PR and advertising agencies to companies with strong marketing efforts, meet the challenge," said Professor Dr. Zec.
"Anyone who is talented and confident of one's own communicative performance, should also communicate him- or herself and face our critical jury."
Deadline for registration is June 17, 2011.
