The Great Indoors Award 2011

The Great Indoors Award 2011
The Great Indoors Award is an international, biennial, interior design award that wishes to elevate interior design to the level of ‘mature discipline’. We attempt to provide the interior designer with a platform of stature, as well as to prompt debate and disburse information on interior design.
The aim is to reward excellence work and, at the same time, to show this work to the world. The Great Indoors Award will honour interior design projects in four categories. The winner of each category will receive a monetary prize. We hope to motivate and convince potential clients from both the private and the public sectors.
Above all else, we want The Great Indoors to give the profession of interior design the status and position it deserves.
The Great Indoors Award is initiated and organized by: FRAME Magazine (Amsterdam), Marres, Centre for Contemporary Culture (Maastricht), and NAiM/Bureau Europa (Maastricht).
