Rules & Eligiblity
Eligibility
The Semi Annual Design Contests are open to graphic and web designers from around the world, who have designed inspiring, unique and creative design pieces for either self-promotion, or legitimate paying clients.
Submitted designs must be no more than five (5) years old.

Entry Process
All designs must be submitted through our six step online registration process which include:
1. Contest Selection
2. Personal Information
3. Artwork Information
4. Upload Artwork
5. Preview and Confirmation
6. Invoice and Payment
Actual Design
Although your online registration and digital artwork are enough for our judges to grade your entry properly, some designers choose to also mail in their actual design pieces for a more in-depth evaluation. This is optional, but recommended if your submitted piece has multiple pages, or elements which can not be viewed in the one or two images you are uploading.
Once you complete the online registration, you may mail your actual design piece along with a copy of your invoice to:

Payment
Payment can either be made online at the time of registration (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), or through a company or personal check mailed to us at a later time. All payments made through the mail must accompany a copy of your invoice, with your invoice number on the check:

Fees
Fees vary based on category, location, and experience. For a complete list, click here.
Permission
Contestant grants the American Design Awards permission to display his or her name, company name, client name, or design on the American Design Awards' web site or marketing collateral for promotional purposes.
Copyright
American Design Awards assumes all submitted artwork are the work and/or property of the designer or design firm submitting the work. American Design Awards will not be liable for any copyright infringement on the part of the contestant.
Note
The American Design Awards reserve the right to refuse service, or revoke award from any individual or company, whose artwork does not fall within the ethical guidelines set forth by American Design Awards, whether before, during or after the judging is complete. Prizes can change without notice, depending on changes in sponsorship or availability. The American Design Awards shall not be held accountable or responsible for any lost or stolen awards, certificates or entries. Fees are non-refundable once the entry has been submitted for any reason.
