Use of Materials by Faces of Design (FoD)
By entering, you confirm that the designs submitted have been created by you, and that you are entitled to confer the right of use of materials to Faces of Design as follows: by submitting, you have cleared any material submitted to the competition for use by Faces of Design as per this documentation, and in accordance with Faces of Design’s Terms and Conditions. Materials may be used by Faces of Design for marketing and promotional purposes directly related to promoting the Faces of Design Awards, and Faces of Design in general. Any material used by Faces of Design shall carry the designer’s credit line.
Copyright and all other rights remain that of the entrants or their clients.
Faces of Design is not liable for any copyright infringement on the part of the entrant and will not become involved in copyright disputes.

Other Award Rules
1. All entrants are regarded as having a full understanding of the regulations for the competition and being willing to comply with every rule
2. Faces of Design (the organizer) will reject incomplete, inconsistent or improper documents and submissions
3. Late submissions will not be admitted to the Awards
4. Entry Fees are not refundable, unless the Awards should be cancelled, in which case Entry Fees will be returned to the participants
5. The decisions of the Panel are final and binding
6. Applicants have no legal rights to Faces of Design Award Grants, and management's decision on awarding Grants is final and binding. The management of Faces of Design reserves the right to withdraw the Grants in case of systematic abuse by applicants.
7. Entrants submitting designs that infringe intellectual or industrial property rights (trade marks, utility models, patents or similar rights) will be excluded from participation in the competition. The qualification of any prize-winning entries that violate third-party rights will be canceled and an official announcement made. The entrant shall be liable for damages and any claims made by third parties, resulting from the infringement of property rights
8. The quality of the final publication is crucial to ensure its benefit to participants. The organizer therefore retains final editorial rights to the documents produced to promote Award winners and their work, in order to ensure quality standards. Should revisions of candidates’ submissions be necessary after the submission deadline has passed, the organizer will inform candidates accordingly. Candidates then have a choice of either making the necessary adjustments themselves within a specified time frame, or having the organizers make the necessary corrections, which will be charged to the candidate at an hourly rate of €60. Participants who do not make the necessary adjustments on time, and do not agree to pay the aforementioned fee will be withdrawn from the Awards competition
9. The organizer reserves the right to amend the total number of winners in order to ensure that the publication fully reflects the quality of contributions submitted
10. The organizer reserves the right to amend the list of organizations to which Award winners are promoted, and the means of doing so, as required to maximise the impact of the competition
