DESIGNTIDE TOKYO is a trade show conceived with the vision of continually proposing new products, scenes and ideas. While focusing on interior design and commercial products, this event also brings together carefully selected work from a wide variety of fields.

Supported by the Ministry of Culture of The People’s Republic of China, the 6th Edition of the China International Gallery Exposition (CIGE 2009) will take place at the China World Trade Centre Exhibition Hall in Beijing in April 16 – 19, 2009 (Preview: April 15).

This year, CIGE decided to include the theme of design officially in its satellite projects DnA_Design and Art. The DnA is proud to present a project of the British designer Max Lamb, invited by Maria Cristina Didero and Alexander von Vegesack to create his famous stone furniture out of the local Beijing quarries.

Following on the heels of New York Fashion Week, THE TRAIN™’s 10th edition, which will take place February 21 to 23, 2009 at Terminal Stores, will have a new format. THE TRAIN will introduce a new high-end accessories section, called THE BOX, based on the successful show THE BOX Paris held during Paris Fashion Week. In addition, PLATFORM 2, which featured contemporary collections, now will be rolled into THE TRAIN.

A debut: for the first time, Tendence will be held earlier in the year and parallel to other Messe Frankfurt events under the umbrella of 'Decorate Life'. Under a new name, Tendence Autumn and Winter, it will open its doors alongside Collectione Preview Spring and Summer, and The Design Annual, The Showcase for Design.
