There’s been a strong link in design between Switzerland and Italy since Max Huber, Carlo Vivarelli, Walter Ballmer et al crossed the Alps in the 1940s. It’s now the time to bring this collaboration full circle and celebrate the shared past, present and future of Swiss and Italian design. And that’s where you, young Swiss and Italian designers come in. Starting January 1, 2009, 100 Beste Plakate e.V. is launching the latest iteration of its design competition »100 beste Plakate des Jahres Deutschland Österreich Schweiz« ("100 best posters of the year in Germany, Austria and Switzerland").
