13,798 grams of design is a theme exhibition curated by Maria Cristina Didero and Susanna Legrenzi for LAP - Lambretto Art Project. For the first time, the show involves over 40 internationally renowned and emerging designers in an investigation of their work and the importance of creativity, in an attempt to discover the factors behind the success of a product.

Supported by the Ministry of Culture of The People’s Republic of China, the 6th Edition of the China International Gallery Exposition (CIGE 2009) will take place at the China World Trade Centre Exhibition Hall in Beijing in April 16 – 19, 2009 (Preview: April 15).

This year, CIGE decided to include the theme of design officially in its satellite projects DnA_Design and Art. The DnA is proud to present a project of the British designer Max Lamb, invited by Maria Cristina Didero and Alexander von Vegesack to create his famous stone furniture out of the local Beijing quarries.
