LogoLounge has become an indispensable research tool, reference guide and online portfolio for the international who's who in identity design community. It is the site of record, information and inspiration for logo design. From legends to up-and-comers, LogoLounge is the place to be.

Designers are invited to send in their design for a new symbol for Europe. 12 Submissions will be selected by an international jury and will be printed on flags. These flags will be shown during the first edition of Design and Government in 2010 in Den Haag and Berlin.

The IDEA® (International Design Excellence Awards) program is the premier international competition honoring design excellence in products, ecodesign, interaction design, packaging, strategy, research and concepts. Entries are invited from designers, students and companies worldwide.

The competition’s theme this year is You+Me=Us.- Between You and Me there‘s a difference, but a lot of things connect Us, both of Us live here. Especially in a globalised world cultural diversity needs to be perceived as an opportunity. This can only be achieved if as many people as possible from different parts of the world develop an understanding for each other and foreign cultures.

Exceptional environmental graphic design is recognized in the annual SEGD Design Awards Program, illustrating the pandisciplinary nature of visual communications in the built environment. Winning projects have included complex wayfinding systems, branding and identity work, retail and interior projects, exhibition design, and public art installations.

Awards are conferred by multidisciplinary, international juries.  

The PCE (Press Cartoon Europe) is an initiative of PCB (Press Cartoon Belgium) in association with the International Cartoon Festival of Knokke-Heist (Belgium). This new award is to be presented annually for the best cartoons published in any European Union member state.

A global pool of infrastructure professionals armed with effective knowledge and tools is essential to meeting basic human needs throughout the world. Critical to expanding the supply of infrastructure professionals is attracting students to those professions and providing them with the appropriate education to enable them to contribute to global sustainability. 

Designers, illustrators, photographers, design studios, collectives/crews, agencies, students, visual artists... you are welcome to submit an innovative, creative, exciting, personal and experimental artwork inspired by the theme: " WHAT DOES USA MEAN TO YOU? " We are expecting diversity and freestyle: all styles of outstanding visual media are welcome. Selected works will be featured through online exhibit and book (more information soon).

The British Animation Awards has launched a call for entries to the UK’s most prestigious awards in animation production. Held every two years, the BAAs celebrate and recognise British animation talent, with past winners including Nick Park, Tim Burton and David Shrigley.

Platform2 is a program funded by the British government (DFID) and run by Christian Aid and is designed to send 18-25 year olds who otherwise couldn’t afford it on 10 week volunteer placements in developing countries.
