IDS invites independent designers and studios to submit creative concepts not currently in production for furniture, lighting, textiles, products and accessories to the Prototype Competition/Exhibition.

Electrolux challenges members of the architecture & design community to present innovative, thoughtful concepts of a kitchen that meets the changing needs of today’s modern family for a chance to win up to $75,000 in cash and prizes.

The grand prize winner will also receive national exposure in Interior Design magazine. To enter, submit a rendering of a kitchen design for a modern family, using Electrolux ICON™ appliances as your inspiration.

For the coming MUJI Award 3, you are asked to find “Found MUJI” from your viewpoint. Learn from the wisdom accumulated by our predecessors all over the world, find good points in such long-established merchandise, and convert them into a design that fits our modern life. We expect to see your “yes, of course” products that are also great in the modern age.

The Award is the Federal Republic of Germany's official recognition of design excellence. It is the central thrust in the German Ministry of Economics and Technology's campaign to promote good design.
