Doppio chair
Furniture based on one element
Simple-construction chair based on one element made of shaped plywood. Destined to be used in various ambiences – home, office and public space.
The sit and the back of the chair are the same piece. It’s shape define the style of a furniture. Simple and modest construction, made of steel rod, expose the basic form.
A plus is that chair can be easily and cheap mass produced. The production process is based on bended and veneerirng the plywood and in addition shaping the steel rod.
Based on the chair project it is possible to develop the furniture’s family – easy armchair, lounge chair, bar stool, etc.
Project made in 2009 to the 9th Edition of the Andreu World International Design Competition.
