Xmi Design was one of the leading design agencies in Ireland, and were my first employers out of college. One of my earliest projects at xmi was working on a re-design of their identity. The existing identity had become outdated and did not reflect the company fully any longer.

The identity we finished with had a more contemporary look to it, as well as being quite corporate in style. Because the majority of xmi’s client base were leading corporate companies, it was important that the logo would be one that would appeal to them and that wouldn't frighten them away! The cool blue and grey colour scheme reflect the cleanliness of xmi’s work as well as its professionalism.

New stationery was also created as you can see here. In all cases, the logo was debossed and the type embossed to further give a sense of calm and cleanliness. The body type is set at 10 degrees following the line of type from the identity and, the new corporate colours used to pick out important information from the body text.
