Neck pieces in creme white tell about godsends and hunt legends. Original deer horns were used for the final cast in off white plastic. Combinations with pearls and laces let the collection appear as a fairy tale romance.
A hunt legends says that white deer (albinos) shouldn’t be shoot, or the hunter will die within a year. In the myth from the 9th century the sister and daughter of King Ludwig the German; Hildegard and Berta, met a white deer with shining antlers in the middle of the night crossing a deep forrest. Henceforth it accompanied the two girls every night to the same place on the river of Zurich. Their father had a church built (Fraumünster) in this very spot believing it was a godsend.
These plastic horns let white deer alive, and remind us of the light of the sister’s albino. Guiding, not as a godsend, but as a “white deer” in the darkness of a closet.
