The piling of stones was the inspiration for this project.
„Pebbles“ is a series of two porcelain bowls which, being put together, build the shape of a stone. Equipped with an additional foot part the individual elements can be combined building a playful, tower like table decoration.
The user interaction with the individual, in height and visual appearance differing elements is an important aspect of the project conception. „Pebbles“ invite you to stack, to find matching pairs and to expand and explore the usage of dishes in a new, different and exciting way.
While the outside is unglazed and nature like, the inside is offering a white, shiny curved surface which is contradictory to the outside contour.
