Meals from Scratch

Okay, I admit this may come across as advertising - but being an absolutely passionate cook myself, and really loving the idea and their packaging, it just had to be mentioned. Please don't hold it against me ;-)

...is a small food company making it easier for busy Londoners to cook from...scratch.

What does scratch do?

They make fresh meal kits.  You get a box of all the fresh, uncooked ingredients – chopped, washed and weighed – along with the instructions how to cook your meal from scratch.
The meals are for one person and are cooked in about 15 minutes.
The meals are healthy in a common sense way, meaning they are nutritionally balanced meals with fresh vegetables and wholesome ingredients.

The packaging

The packaging was developped (together with scratch) and designed by designer Jeremy Innes-Hopkins. It consists of a clear tray made of RPET (50% recycled and 100% recyclable), so that the consumer can see the fresh ingredients inside. On the kraft sleeve surrounding the tray (100% recycled and 100% recyclable), you find the meal description and clear brand identity on the front as well as the cooking instruction on the back side.
